Childcare centers usually are open year round, with long hours so that parents or guardians can drop off and pick up their children before and after work. Some centers employ full-time and part-time staff with staggered shifts to cover the entire day.
States do not regulate educational requirements for nannies. However, some employers may prefer to hire workers with at least some formal instruction in childhood education or a related field, particularly when they will be hired as full-time nannies.
Child care workers typically have an interest in the Helping and Creating interest areas according to the Holland Code framework. The Helping interest area indicates a focus on assisting, serving, counseling, or teaching other people. The Creating interest area indicates a focus on being original and imaginative, and working with artistic media.
Probably more important than unmarried mothers is the percentage of households that have all the adults working full time (or worse, patching together multiple jobs) in order to pay the rent/mortgage and thus have no one home to help with homework, even if they have the skills.
RT: I've led a sheltered life in a way. I've never had any kids; I've always been about my work. I've never been fired from a job, I've only applied for a very few of them, and I've held them for as long as I cared to.
RT: There really wasn't a difference between us and them. We were on the same faculty system, same evaluations. It wasn't for nothing that I was eventually promoted to full professor. We worked on the same team, the same issues and so forth. In fact, I've always been more than a little skeptical of those issues that come out of "where? Who asked for that?" And the Extension model, as I said before, we were a team with a continuous feedback of success and support.

Amanda Fennell: We also kind of put, I don't know what the right word would be, but I guess there's a bit of fanfare to our security team. People all think it's a very awesome group, and we know a lot about things that you may not know about in the security space. So we really try to offer that knowledge to people who are interested, like, hey, if you want to know how malware works, happy to have you shadow us, and we can show you how this tool works. And I think that our learning content that we have put together and all the videos and the quizzes and all this kind of stuff, we don't just say, OK, what kind of phishing is there? It gets deeper than that, and we offer these increased levels that you can go further. Yes, we want you to understand a lot of intro information and how to better protect yourself in your own life. But we also want you to, if you have that curiosity to go deeper, to become just as good at security as some of us who've been doing it for years are. We'd love for that. It's almost like, we want you to catch that bug. We want you to be a part of that. And it's a big part of where we've set it up.
I'm acting like a dick? I'm not the one cussing and whining like a 2 year old throwing a tantrum. And if I was a dick I'd have just made the edit instead of discussing it first. I don't expect you guys to understand what the difference between a fanboy and a normal person is. It's built into the definition of a fanboy that you are incapable of understanding when you're in the wrong. You guys are like little kids sitting in the sandbox with your "repurposing" nonsense saying "Let's pretend that Hot Rod is bumblee because Hasbro didn't make one." Seriously? You claim there's no "cliche", but then you throw around the words "our" and "we" etc. etc. and talk about your "system" that "I don't understand." If your system works so well then what's with the glaring inconsistencies? (YOUR repurposing page says they're unofficial, but you argue here that they are official. Whatever) If people are continually trying to edit pages and you're locking them so they can't be editted, OBVIOUSLY they want the information there. But you don't want it there so it can't be. But there's no cliche. Whatever. --Mathius 14:25, 6 June 2010 (EDT) 2ff7e9595c
